Seeing Is Believing?

You’ve no doubt heard, or even said the phrase, “Seeing is Believing”, or maybe this one; “I’ll believe it when I see it.” We tend to rely on what we see, to dictate what we believe. It’s the way of the world, isn’t it? We hope for new things, new circumstances, people to change the way we want them to, God to do things we want Him to do, and on…. But we don’t believe things like this will happen until we actually see them.

But God’s Word tells us that with faith, believing that we have what we ask for, before we even see it, and asking in God’s will, we can have what we ask for. We are to “see” what we are asking for, before we have it. Romans 4:17 says, “(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.”

So many times we walk around speaking in unbelief about our circumstances, but the Word tells us to “walk by faith, not by sight”. (2 Corinthians 5:7) What we choose to believe, greatly determines our attitudes and often the outcome of a situation. A single person might say, “I’ll never get married. I’ll be an old maid.”, rather than, “I look forward to meeting the man/woman God has for me.” Someone who has been diagnosed with a disease might say, “I’m going to die of this.”, rather than, “I believe that I am healed, in Jesus’ Name.” I’ve heard and read countless stories of people whose situations were turned completely around by their faith in God’s Word, that He’ll do what He says He will do, and by speaking the Word into their situations. The Word works if we believe it and practice it. We walk by faith in the Word of God and in God’s ability to change our circumstances….not by how things look or seem on the outside.

What will you choose to believe?

I believe that my beliefs, behaviors towards others and the way I choose to speak can

attract to me changes in my living. If im mean I can attract others who are mean. If Im more loving I can attract others who are loving. This is what changes our living.

I dont believe others can do that for me.

Just imagine only one trying to keep up with billions of us and trying to change

situations in their lives which happens each half second of the day. I dont think any

god or anyone can do that, its impossible. And who would be bothered and have the

time when they are not even here?

I dont believe in a god I believe in myself. However there are higher evolved beings

we are not ready to see and this could be the god many speak of.

It's better to believe in love. This way the being or god as some call them will be just

that,,loving
